Jason Robert Porter reportedly committed multiple lewd acts with same victim

–On Thursday, June 23, 2016, at approximately 10:55 p.m., the Paso Robles Police Department received a report of a disturbance outside a residence in the 1000 block of Vista Grande Street. Officers arrived, separated the involved parties, and learned an adult female resident interrupted an adult male visitor while he was in the act of taking lewd photographs of her six-year-old daughter. The girl’s mother took immediate action to protect her daughter and then alerted other adults in the home, which led to the disturbance and the call to police.
As a result of this investigation, it was discovered that the suspect had committed a lewd act with the same victim at a previous date and time. 44-year-old Paso Robles resident Jason Robert Porter was arrested at the scene and later booked into the SLO County Jail on the following charges:
- Possession of child pornography (felony)
- Lewd act with a child under 14 years of age (felony)
