Police department seeking information about the incident
– At 1:54 a.m. on Nov. 24, the Atascadero Police Department and Atascadero Fire and Emergency Services responded to a report of an unconscious adult male in the parking lot of Outlaws Bar, located at 9850 East Front Street.
First responders found a 30-year-old man suffering from a significant head injury. He was transported to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center, where he remains in critical condition. Authorities have not released his identity.
A preliminary investigation revealed the man was involved in an altercation in the parking lot. The injury occurred when he fell to the ground as a third party intervened to break up the altercation. Witnesses were present during the incident.
